Ripley's Believe It or Not DVD Contest

Robert L. Ripley's Complete Vitaphone Shorts Collection is a 2-disc set that includes 24 theatrical shorts that were shown in movie houses in 1930 and 1931. They are based around Ripley's Believe It or Not cartoon feature that premiered in the New York Globe on December 19, 1918. The cartoon originally dealt with incredible and outrageous sports feats, but Ripley quickly expanded this to include items unrelated to sports. In 1923, Ripley hired Norbert Pearlroth to help him research and discover new unusual facts. Pearlroth worked with Ripley for the next 52 years of his life, spending most of his time in the New York Public Library searching for unusual facts. On this Ripley's Believe It or Not DVD, you can see the world's smallest book, a 6-year-old lifting 200 pounds, a two-headed turtle and much, much more. With outrageous and unimaginable facts and feats on display, this DVD captures film history that will leave you curious and amazed.

For More Information on this DVD and others, visit Warner Bros. Official Site.

Good Luck!

This isn't that crazy or anything, but about 5 years ago my house was THE party place. We had parties every weekend. Well, at one party there was a midget there. She was quite the source of entertainment for us drunks. She did a lot of funny things that night. At one point she said she was going to kick herself in the head. I wasn't too drunk by then and didn't think much of it, didn't think it would be funny or anything. But believe me, when you see a midget kick him or herself in the head, you can't stop laughing. Believe it or not!

Back in my young and dumb days, I rode a bmx bike off a high dive at my pool I was working at. Stayed on the bike all the way down. Boy, I guess I really didn't care about having kids back in those days.
